URSOLIV 250mg CAPSULES contain 250mg of the active ingredient Ursodeoxycholic Acid (UDCA). Also known as ursodiol, UDCA is a bile acid used to treat liver and gallbladder disorders. It works by decreasing the amount of cholesterol produced by the liver and absorbed by the intestine, which helps to dissolve cholesterol-based gallstones. The medication is available by prescription only.
